Floating pipeline with plastic floats

Floating pipeline is used for transporting the sand-gravel mixtures and various-grade sands, and pumping the liquids and high-abrasive materials over the water surface from the suction-tube dredger to the shore.

Pipeline is made of the pipe sections of up to 6m long with the flanged connections.

Flexibility of rubber-fabric pipeline allows the suction-tube dredger to maneuver in the course of operation, while floats attached to pipeline provide keeping the entire hydraulic transport system afloat.

Number of floats is determined by agreement with the Customer, and required pipeline buoyancy is calculated (with allowance for the pumped medium concentration/pipeline weight).

Where necessary, floats can be designed for electric power cable installation.
